"Wake Up, Freak Out, Then Get a Grip" - Scary but Excellent Video!

Hello, fellow greenies!

If you follow this link you'll find an excellent video by someone named Leo Murray about what will happen to our planet if we don't take action and move towards fighting climate change. United we stand, divided (or lazy) we fall!

If you want the script for this video, use this link:

Happy Watching - and really, freak out, but then get a grip! And share it with anyone else you think needs some shaking into action!

Second Environmental Club Meeting

As the title suggests,we had our second environmental club meeting today in D10.(Is it me or did we have less people today??)
Anyways, we assigned people to activities we wanted accomplished such as

-Reduce Plastic Bags Campaign

-Recycling Program

-Environmental Movie Screenings

-Tree Planting Initiative

-Environment Day and Week

-World Issues Conference Involvement

As of now, I don't think we have a calender of events set yet except for ECA day.

And members are encouraged to take down outdated flyers in all their classes and pass them to Mr. Colin to be recycled into our own flyers, preferably those flyers with the due date of 2008 on them.

And we also gave Miss Nicole a surprise Happy Environmental Birthday song since they were just having a party 2 classes down...

I am currently working on a layout for this blog to make it more "visually" appealing and anyone who wishes to help may do so...
Of course it would be environmentally themed...

I'm guessing that's all for now....

-Food For Thought
We can vote and not just voting at a voting booth for the next president or a new government.
Anybody of any age can vote, because you vote everyday that you pay for something.
Every time you lay your money down on a counter to buy something, you are saying that,
I approve of this object. I approve of how it was made, the materials that are in it and whats going to happen when I no longer need it and throw it away.
