I encourage everyone to visit http://www.recyclecharity.org and learn more about this active and impressive local charity founded by Dato' Eadon Ching.
He came and gave a talk to TEC and some Taylor's Students here yesterday to OPEN THE EARTH DAY events.
This organization helps a diverse group of community groups and organizations for people in need through recycling - what an idea!
Thank you for those who attended and as promised we will continue to work with this great organization.
Some plans:

April 26 - Garden International School Event
Garden International School's - Get the Recycling Bug
Dear All
In conjunction with Earth Day celebrations, Ms Linda Landers (Primary Art Teacher) of Garden International School will be hosting a craft session at Bangsar Village 1. The event is open to the public and Ms Landers will lead a team of students who will be showing off their recently acquired skills in construction techniques to build 3D bugs from used shopping bags (pics attached). Children (7 years and over) have the opportunity for a hands-on experience in making their own 3D bugs. A nominal fee of RM10.00 (per bug) is charged to cover costs and all proceeds will be channeled to charities. Details of the event can be found in the attached poster. Much appreciate if you could disseminate this information to students & your friends.
