Tree Planting

Global Environment Centre (GEC), the Sai Group and the Selangor Forestry Department are organizing the first tree planting event for 2010.

Goal : To plant 3,000 trees at the Raja Musa Peat Swamp Forest.

60 Eco Warriors are invited to participate!

( This event is NOT suitable for children under 12 years.)

Date : 27th February 2010 (Saturday)
Time : 7.00am - 12.00pm
Venue : North Selangor Peat Swamp Forest


What to Wear ?
1. Boots or closed-toe shoes
2. Long sleeved shirt
3. Long pants


Please note, volunteers wearing improper attire won't be allowed into the planting area.

1. Drinking water
2. Light food
3. A bucket, gardening tools and gloves, if you have them


Carpooling (or to Follow us to Planting Site)
• Meetup Point : A&W, PJ (opposite Taman Jaya LRT station).

screening of "HOME"

Screening of "HOME" in LT4, would be postponed to 25th of February, or will be discussed during the next club meeting.

*the screening is for free, so come watch the screening and don't forget to bring along your friends to spread the awareness of global warming, climate change [and list goes on and on] that are getting worse.

*donation could be given too during the screening and the money would go straight to environmental organisations.
